What is E-Recording?
E-Recording is the secure online submission of documents to the Clerk’s office for recording in the Official Records of St. Lucie County. e-Recording eliminates the need to mail or deliver documents to the courthouse, and saves time and money for both the Clerk's office and our customers.
The most commonly e-Recorded documents are deeds, mortgages, assignment of mortgages and satisfaction of mortgages. Certain document types cannot be e-Recorded.
The following document types require special handling and cannot be processed via eRecording:
- BONDS
- CERTIFICATES OF COMPLIANCE
- DECLARATIONS OF CONDOMINIUM RELATED
- DOMESTIC PARTNERSHIP DOCUMENTS
- FOREIGN JUDGMENTS
- LIS PENDENS
- MILITARY SEPARATION/DISCHARGE
- NOTICES OF HOMESTEAD
- NOTICES OF BOND
- NOTICES OF CONTEST OF LIEN
- NOTICES OF INTEREST IN LAND
- PLATS
- TRANSFERS OF LIEN/JUDGMENT TO CASH/SURETY BOND
- MISCELLANEOUS DOCUMENTS

Edna Dandridge
Recording Manager
Edna has more than 34 years of service with the Clerk's office. As Recording Manager, she oversees the recording of the county’s official records, issuing marriage licenses, conducting marriage ceremonies, and processing U.S. passport applications. Official records include mortgages, deeds, satisfactions, plats, certificates of title, lis pendens, judgments, death certificates, military discharges, and more. Edna previously worked in the Civil and Family Law section of the Brevard County Clerk's office for 2.5 years.
